KNOXVILLE FAMILY JUSTICE CENTER OFFICE

 STAFF ATTORNEY POSITION AVAILABLE

 Legal Aid of East Tennessee (LAET) seeks a full-time staff attorney for the Knoxville Family Justice Center office to handle domestic violence and abuse matters and to provide high-quality, comprehensive legal services to families and individuals served by LAET. A demonstrated commitment to exceptional legal work and equal access to justice is required.

 Candidates must be admitted to the Tennessee Bar or admitted to the bar of another state with the ability to waive into Tennessee and have a minimum of three years of relevant experience. This position will include general litigation with a focus on domestic violence. Continuation of this position is contingent on continued grant funding. Position is anticipated to begin immediately.

 Salary commensurate with experience. LAET offers a generous benefits package.

Legal Aid of East Tennessee (LAET) seeks a full-time Staff Attorney available to work out of LAET’s Maryville office to provide high-quality, comprehensive legal services to families and individuals served by LAET. A demonstrated commitment to exceptional legal work and equal access to justice is required.

Candidates must be admitted to the Tennessee Bar or admitted to the bar of another state with the ability to waive into Tennessee and have a minimum of three years of relevant experience. This position will focus on domestic violence, housing, and consumer law. Continuation of this position is contingent on continued grant funding. Position is anticipated to begin immediately.
