Make A Difference : The Pro Bono Project
LAET staff is able to offer services to only a small fraction of the low-income persons who apply for legal assistance. By volunteering through LAET’s Pro Bono Project, lawyers and other members of the legal community assist many of the people LAET cannot serve. Get more information about how to join the PBP by clicking one of the links on the left.
Eligibility for PBP Assistance.
While LAET sometimes offers legal representation to elderly and abused clients who are not low-income persons, all Pro Bono Project clients fall within the definition of “low-income persons” set by the Legal Services Corporation.
